Once on a Cheerios box it said something like "Just like your little black dress, cheerios wholesome goodness will always be there for you." (Lame right?)
There's two problems with this little logo or whatever it is. Here they are:
1 Cheerios's are gross (I used to think they were alright with blackberries but the more I eat it, I'm getting less and less convinced!)
2 On the box there was a picture of a so called "little black dress" that is sleeveless! (Not good!)
And so if someone sees this they think, one, "ew, I don't want to buy anything that talks about immodest clothing let alone anything that's comparing my breakfast to a black dress!"
and, two, if someone sees a little black dress in JCPenny's they think, "I saw a picture of this on a box with something disgusting in it!!!"
Maybe that's why they got rid of that and put an overly excited lady eating Cheerios! (I don't think it helps much)
But thats beside the point!
The point of this blog is not to tell you about how lame Cheerios are!!! It's to tell you about my problem! Here it is:
I love to do hair. I love to do my sisters' hair and my dolls' hair and my own hair! But here's the problem. Every morning usually this happens. I sleep in, I quickly get up, brush my hair, and put in a pony tail, and get to school! I could curl my hair and elaborately do my hair in some way, but I don't. I put it in a ponytail. And on rare mornings when I decide to do my hair, it usually ends up falling out and going into a ponytail!!!!!!!!!!!
So here's my idea. First: drop the little black dress and overly excited lady. Two: make Cheerios taste better, and three: Make a new thing that says: Just like your comforting ponytail, Cheerios (That taste better than before) wholesome goodness will always be there for you!!!!
Its still lame, but I like it better!

My ponytail's always there for me too. We do differ, however, in our opinion of Cheerios. They are my very favorite cereal--especially with bananas or blueberries or strawberries or all of the above. Maybe you should try eating generic Cheerios for a week. Then you will appreciate what real Cheerios have to offer. They are a wonderful food.
ReplyDeleteI posted a comment about how I love Cheerios. I don't think my comment made it though. I also love my ponytail. I think you should give Cheerios another try--especially with bananas, strawberries, and blueberries. Cheerios are ever so much better than generic imitations. Taste them again, for the first time.
ReplyDeleteMy comment did make it. I just needed to be a little patient. Forgive me for taking over your blog.
ReplyDeleteYou should work in marketing Desi.
ReplyDeleteYour cheerios are missing sugar.
Cheerios are fine without the sugar. Put blueberries and a little granola on them. I'll make you some after tax season.
