The Freaky Homeschooling Family!!!!

I wonder if I ever embarrass Clarissa???? On Friday my whole family went to Wells High School for the high school basketball game where Clarissa was playing in the pep band!!! Wells (whose colors are black and orange) was against Carlin (whose color is red).
Clarissa had gone early to practice and was sitting with the band when the whole gang came in the door past the cheer leaders, past the band, all 5 kids!! and to make things worse, my mom was wearing pink and my dad was wearing RED!!!!! and to make things even worse, earlier they had announced that the Wells fans should wear black. No one was wearing black in our family! We pushed past people to the 3rd to top row all 7 of us!!!! About 15 minutes later we repeated the whole process back down to the concession stand and practically driving the kid taking orders crazy!!! "Now was that 2 or 3 hot dogs? How many hamburgers again?" Our mom had to do the math because he couldn't figure how much we owed for dinner. After we had finished eating, we went BACK to our seats and finished watching the game.
We are a freaky homeschooling family!!!! My mom does essential oils, we have 6 kids, we don't have TV, and we are awesome!!!!!! Maybe I don't know ANY movie stars, I don't know any cool songs, but I don't care. I love my family and I think we are the very Best Freaky Homeschooling Family in the World!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS Clarissa is not embarrassed. She is a strong, hard working, fast walking, cheerful servant of God!!!!!!! (That is our family creed.)

  1. You are awesome. And who's freaky? Not you. I'm glad your mom is there to do the math. She should be here to help me do the math. I wrote the wrong amount for my kids' piano lesson because I did the math wrong. Braeden had to help me. Who has time for math? Not me.

How're your headaches? I forgot to ask your mom.

  2. I loved this post, Desi. You forgot to mention that after you were all sat down, your strange aunt and three rowdy children paraded past the cheerleaders and Clarissa in the pep band to sit by your family! The lovely thing was that Clarissa said hello to my children and that you and Liberty helped me SO much with Savannah and Luke. I love you all so much.
