Christmas moments

At Olivia's most recent Lady's Holiday Brunch she asked each of us to think of an ideal Christmas moment--something that while you were doing it you would think to yourself, "This is Christmas."
I had one of these experiences last night!! It started after church on Sunday. Liberty and I got the idea to make a popcorn string for our Christmas tree! We popped some corn and made a really pretty, long popcorn string! After that we cleaned the house, did the dishes and FINALLY got to start to decorate the tree!!!
It was sooooooo much fun. We got out all of our ornaments, lights, beads and of course our popcorn string and hung them on the tree! Hyrum made a snow man village on one part of the tree with all the snow man ornaments we have. He even got some nutcracker ornaments for guards! It was great. And the girls made an American girl party with all of our AG ornaments. It was fun. We also had fun hanging my apple ornament with a BITE out of it (Thanks to Hyrum!) and a lot of other ornaments!
After we finished decorating, we went to Grandma's house to get a Christmas book. And on our way there, to our surprise it was snowing, SNOWING!!! When we got back, we had hot chocolate and went to sit around the Christmas tree and listened to mom read to us!!!
It was so much fun last night! And if that isn't an ideal Christmas experience, what is?
